My personal philosophy to being a great leader

  • Believe. Spirituality is something that is greater than oneself. It grounds you, especially during the "storming" phase of ones life
  • Speak and treat others like you want to be SPOKEN to and TREATED
  • Learn from your former leaders that did not treat you well and be INTENTIONAL about being different
  • Don't be afraid to be vulnerable in front of your team. It's not a sign of weakness, rather a sign of strength. It's a way to connect
  • No matter how far you go up, don't forget it was by the work of those on your team who valued your leadership. Don't forget about them. Always keep a hand back to pull them along the way.
  • Accountability and Thank you goes farther then you know. So do it!
