Joshua Garris

My experiences in work and my background consists of working in the hospitality business, working in customer service based jobs and food and beverage serving work. My places of employment have been both the fast food franchise Burger King, and the multi faceted franchise of Wawa. But what I can owe the most of my real experience and achievements to is being a part of Saint Lucie Sheriff's Office explorer Post 400 for over 6 years. While within the program it has enabled me to undoubtedly improve and learn social skills, teamwork, character building, accountability, and a plethora of other valuable skills for simply every day life or for important job positions. While in the program I have earned the awards for male East Central explorer of the year in 2024, and the overall male explorer of the year from the FSEA (Florida Sheriff's Explorers Association) in the current year of 2025. I also have worked in my many community churches. The most concurrent church is sunlight church, otherwise known as sunlight academy in PSL.
