Summary of Volunteerwork

Helping children with disabilities get ready for school in the early mornings, Assists with taking clients' kids to daycare or school pick-up/drop-off, Checking on clients' elderly parents to make sure they have the things they need, Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS), Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filling, and calling in labs. Multiline phone systems, Greeting visitors, maintaining calendars for appointments, sorting mail, 10/2022–03/2023, Responded under supervision to clients' crisis situations and implemented action plans to stabilize situations and coordinate care. Reviewed clients' to help keep them on track with their goals, Under supervision from my Troy University instructor and Women's Director, I counseled patients alone and in groups to assist them through difficult times and improve their coping with mental health and substance abuse issues. I prioritized and completed assigned tasks under minimal supervision and to the desired standard, I communicated and problem-solved operational problems on the spot, I worked with team members to assess situations and create plans. Volunteered in the Dominican Republic, giving eye exams and dental work. Volunteers in Honduras fed school kids and gave out school supplies. Carried out high-quality medical supplies with little oversight.
