Accomplishments
For my quick thinking and calm actions on April 3, 2024, when a sex offender broke onto my bus a little after 8am and tried to hijack the bus and my 19 kids on board, the Springfield Board of Education and the Springfield Police Department honored me at a board meeting in May for my heroism. The Missouri State Senate’s office came to the bus barn and awarded me with The Missouri State of Representatives Resolution and an award from The State Senate. Both were presented to me by Betsy Folgle and Melanie Stinnett.
