Oliver Lamprecht

I am an excellent high school student who has always been on the honor roll (above a 3.5 GPA) throughout my first three years of high school and has challenged himself by taking advanced classes and signing up for college level courses. I also have my own business where I mow lawns and have my own customers that I am friendly and talk to. Furthermore, I have experience in a variety of areas as I have bounced around from job to job in order to make money so I can prepare for my future. In these variety of jobs I have repeatedly learned the importance of trust, being on time, working hard, and following directions the first time they are given. While I do work frequently, I also have sports, religion, and friends to also put time into which have made me well-rounded and help me not be lazy, but productive. This year I have made the decision to get a stable job and know that I can be the reliable worker who will do whatever needs done and more to achieve the quality standard I set for myself and to help the business I am a part of be successful.

• I have taken A.P. Biology, A.P Physics, A.P English Language and Composition, A.P. Calculus, and A.P. History and have always been an honor roll student maintaining no lower than a 3.6 GPA my whole high school career without the weight of my AP courses. I work hard in my studies and have learned to adapt to whatever school throws at me, thanks Coronavirus. I pride myself on doing what needs to be done and being a smart kid that makes good choices and works hard to achieve my goals.
• Something else I am proud of is my participation in Eagle High School's Cross Country. This was very hard as every day in the August and September heat we would run about six to eight miles after school not to mention any warm ups or core exercises we would do to go along with it. This was very hard for me but I stuck with the sport and didn't quit and it showed me that I can do hard things. I am very proud of my grit and perseverance that I showed while doing this sport and although I did not quite make varsity I was still proud of how I performed and worked hard.
• My proudest athletic achievement in high school was the Ultimate Frisbee team. My team placed very well even though it is not a school sanctioned sport it was a club and did require lots of work. Particularly this year I had to almost run the club. Our coach Denni Wagstaff was very busy this year with his job because he does not profit off of coaching the team so he gave me the bin of cones, jerseys, and frisbees and I would run the majority of practices helping kids to throw and catch and learn the game. This made me have to attend each one, even when I was tired and didn't want to. I was able to be arguably the best or one of the best on the team due to my commitment and dedication to excellence and am very proud of my skill of Ultimate Frisbee.
