Driven by a compassionate attitude and a strong foundation in critical thinking, I am an asset at Novant Health Rehabilitation hospital, enhancing patient care through patient interaction, assisting in patient transportation, and upkeep of facility cleanliness. As a Special Needs Dance Teacher at Carolina Dance Foundation, I led programs that fostered trust and emotional expression, showcasing my effective communication and leadership skills. As a Pre-health Biology student, and aspiring future Occupation Therapy grad student, a natural curiosity for learning coupled with a strong work ethic makes me eager to gain experience and makes me a great candidate for opportunities in this field.

I volunteered for the Joy Club program throughout middle and high school to provide a dance experience for students with special needs in our community. I frequently served as the lead or substitute teacher when the head of our program was absent, and helped coordinate many events for our students to get involved in our dance program.

- Provide a safe and compassionate space for students to experience an emotional outlet through dance.
- Encourage trust and friendship between instructors, volunteers, and other students.
- Provide individual attention when needed to help students with specific skill development.
