Hi, I'm Olivia!
I am a former Behavioral Technician turned restaurant Shift-Lead Server. Ah, yes the pipeline I was meant to go down from the beginning. Coming from two parents who were a part of the restaurant industry my whole life, I had to see what it was all about!
Now don't get me wrong, I have loved being a waitress. I've enjoyed building relationships with my regular customers, forming a true collaborative team with my co-workers, and ensuring that anyone who walks through the door will leave having had a positive experience. However, as I approach my third year of being a server, I realize that I crave the stability of a more "traditional" job. I want to play a role in a company where I can grow.
I am particularly drawn towards Secretarial/Administrative Assistant work, more specifically within the legal field, as I feel that my skills and professionalism from my time as both a Behavioral Technician and a Shift-Lead Server would transfer well into a more clerical setting.
I understand that I may not have as much experience in related fields as other candidates, but I assure you, my time as a server has qualified me with some of the most valuable skills an employee can have. I am able to remain composed, professional, and positive in stressful situations. I can quickly adapt and excel in fast-paced environments. I possess top-notch communication, customer service, organizational and time management skills. And of course, I thrive in a team-centered environment, but I also know how to hold my own weight and stay on task.
