Working as a floater/teacher at a daycare has taught me a lot. I’m hard working and dedicated and passionate about what I do. I like to work and work until the job is done. It’s important for me to enjoy what I do. When I enjoy what I do then I feel like I can do it 24/7.
• Help teachers with children that needed more help when it came to learning skills.
• Help teachers with activities and field trips for the children.
• Filled in for the teachers that could not make it in or needed to step out for whatever reason.
• Walking around all the classrooms to make sure any teachers need help with anything.
• Interacting with the children. Playing and making sure they are learning and having fun.
• Watching the children. Making sure they aren’t hurting anyone or themselves.
• Writing incidents reports for the children.
• Interacting and talking to the parents if they have any questions regarding their children or anything about the daycare.
• Being responsible for writing the correct times for Tracking sheets.
• Checking on teachers throughout the day to make sure they are good.
• Having to communicate with the teachers about information regarding the children.
