Predictors of Aggression Across Children and Adolescents with ASD, Poughkeepsie, NY

Independent Research Project, August 2023 - February 2024

  • Managed and analyzed a dataset of 2,810 individuals (ages 1.5-18) from a neurodevelopmental specialist site to identify predictors of aggression in children and adolescents with ASD
  • Examined the relationship between demographics, competencies, and behavioral symptoms using tools like ADOS-2, ABAS-II/III, and CBCL scores

Developmental Disabilities Lab Research Project, January 2023 - April 2023

  • Conducted an online survey using the CDP, Mini-IPIP, SADP, and IAT to examine the relationship between contact with disabled individuals, personal experience, inclusive programming, and attitudes towards disabilities
  • Findings showed that increased contact led to less negative attitudes, while higher conscientiousness, extroversion, and neuroticism were linked to more negative attitudes and implicit biases
