Study Abroad

This fall I studied abroad in Australia and had the opportunity to design my own study and write a scientific paper on a subject of my choosing. I got to work with Flying-Fox pups at the Tolga Bat hospital. I am currently working on getting my paper published. I also did research on the Great Barrier Reef working on removing the invasive Crown-of-Thorns starfish and researching how human impacts affects specific fish species abundance and distribution. I am very proficient in writing scientific papers and gathering data for research.

Volunteer work

I have volunteered at soup kitchens, animal shelters, and worked with my chapter of the National Charity League in Raleigh. I want to help better peoples lives and create a safe space for a kinder world.
