In June of 2022 I commenced my nursing journey on an acute care pediatric medical/surgical floor, dedicating six months to building a solid and diverse nursing foundation. Transitioning to the pediatric hematology/oncology unit for the subsequent six months, I honed my abilities in administering chemotherapy and providing compassionate care to children facing hematologic and oncologic challenges. Motivated by a passion for specialized pediatric care, I accepted a position in the hospital's new Bone Marrow Transplant Unit in June of 2023. In this role, I've demonstrated proficiency in managing complex medical conditions, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, mentoring new team members, and ensuring the well-being of pediatric patients undergoing bone marrow transplants.

Responsible for supporting various office functions, performing administrative and clerical duties to ensure efficient and smooth business operations, and provide high-quality services to patients and business partners. This position included presenting treatment plans to patients which made me very comfortable communicating with patients in a therapeutic manner.
