Charter School & NASP Coordinator

  • Collaborated with partner school administrators to plan program details, dates, and logistics.
  • Arranged transportation and planned local (ie. city of Albuquerque) and hyperlocal (ie. South Valley, International District, etc.) locations strategically.
  • Crafted the Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) agreements in addition to facilitating administrative requirements for schools, including the distribution of student waivers and release forms.
  • Developed comprehensive semester plans and curriculum for each class while efficiently managing student attendance and other pertinent information as required by partner schools and Nature Niños.
  • Provided leadership and mentorship training to charter school instructors in Nature Niños methods for classroom management, student interaction, and nature experiences in various programs.
  • Conducted weekly check-ins with Nature Niños charter school instructors to evaluate the status of their class experiences, ensuring they were adequately prepared with necessary supplies and plans.
  • Provided constructive feedback and offered suggestions and solutions for challenges that arose.
  • Represented Nature Niños and programs at community school meetings and related events.
  • Organized NASP related activities and helped to ensure all Nature Niños staff are NASP certified.
