My name is Olivia Mayo, I am 23 years old and Graduated Kirkwood for Parks and Natural resources-AAS degree. I have always had a passion for the outdoors, which led me to Johnson County where I have returned for three summers. I am determined and eager to learn and develop professionally to better myself in the parks system. I have strong communication skills and am adept to working not only with a team but by myself. I have three years park experience as well as 4+ years in public service and guest focused work.

  • My third year as a seasonal. I previously worked this position in 2023 and 2024.
  • Assisting with programs through Outdoor Mentors.
  • Completing daily custodial duties.
  • Keeping records of daily activities through logs.
  • Use of hand and power tools as needed.
  • Building strong professional relationships with coworkers, as well as guests who visit.
  • Enforcement and familiarity with park rules and regulations.
