As the K-12 vocal and instrumental music teacher at Dorchester, I am responsible for all aspects of the music program, including elementary music classes, band, choir, and pep band. I am passionate about creating a dynamic and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive. In my first year, I have prioritized developing engaging and innovative lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles, fostering a strong foundation in music fundamentals while cultivating a love for music in all students. I am actively preparing students for upcoming performances and am committed to building a thriving and successful music program.

As an Assistant Manager of Dairy Queen Grill and Chill, I fostered a positive customer experience through employee coaching, policy enforcement, and a welcoming atmosphere. I ensured quality service by upholding standards, addressing issues, and suggesting improvements. Additionally, I contributed to financial responsibility by managing cash, inventory, labor costs, and cultivating a sales-driven team spirit.

During my student teaching experience, I taught PreK-2nd Grade vocal music at Crete Elementary School. As a student teacher, I not only delivered state-aligned music lessons and managed classroom dynamics, but I also actively took initiative. This was evident when I substituted for my cooperative teacher during her maternity leave by independently designing lessons, creating my own composition unit, and introducing program music. My willingness to take on responsibilities such as professional development and after-school care showcased my dedication and potential as an educator.
