· Completed Passy Muir trials/capping trials for tracheostomy patients in preparation for de-cannulation process
· Educated patients, families and caregivers on continuation of care and current diagnoses via family feeding competencies, welcoming families to participate in therapy, teaching oral care/TTS and attending family meetings
· Provided services to adult population (age range of 27 years-106 years) in a 350 bed facility in both sub-acute and long term care settings
· Provided both bedside and FEES to assist in identifying swallowing disorders and to guide therapy based on deficits seen during instrumental swallow study assessment
· Utilized Vital Stim therapy program with patients to improve oropharyngeal swallow function
· Provide in-services with nursing staff/certified nursing assistants/family members on general safe swallowing guidelines and/or risk of penetration or aspiration (i.e Free Water Protocol)

· Collaborated with hospital SLP for further investigation on MBSS reports/patient progress during hospitalization to assist in guiding therapy approach
