  • Maintain all roles & responsibilities held in the Outreach Coordinator position, first and foremost promoting the mission of improving the quality of life in the communities that comprise Lancaster County
  • Serve on the Executive Steering Committee of the STEM Funders Network beginning in the spring of 2022
  • Provide planning, leadership & logistical support for the Workforce 2030 Summit, a 3-day conference for business & industry, K-12, CBO’s, institutions of higher ed and the local community to discuss workforce needs in the Lancaster Community coming August 2022 and hosting 200 attendees
  • Implement a comprehensive data analysis of the Foundation’s work to ensure achieved outcomes reflect the Foundation board’s vision for investment in the community
  • Elevate the priority of ‘Diversity in STEM’ under the umbrella of the Lancaster County STEM Alliance through request for proposals for programming prioritizing diversity and access, as well as launching a pilot program of high quality STEM curriculum in pre-k special education settings, typically void of STEM curriculum
  • Maintain expense and travel records for monthly reporting
  • Represent the Foundation and Lancaster County STEM Alliance through guest speaking opportunities, conference presentations and community engagements both locally and nationally.

Foundation Outreach Coordinator

  • Sought opportunities to put the mission of The Steinman Foundation ‘To improve quality of life in the communities that comprise Lancaster County, Pennsylvania’ into action daily through the organization’s eleemosynary endeavors
  • Coordinated meetings with Foundation grantees, community stakeholders, community leaders & other parties for the Foundation leadership team
  • Provided administrative assistance to Foundation leadership team in preparation for quarterly board meetings, advisory board meetings including drafting grant application summaries, activity reports, budget overviews, letter of inquiry summaries and other board packet materials
  • Launched the Foundation’s COVID-19 grantmaking response to expedite funding of crucial pandemic-related services in areas outside of typical funding priorities including mental health care access, internet/broadband access, food access and childcare assistance
  • In partnership with United Way of Lancaster County, created & launched the Lancaster Partnership for Learning Equity (LPLE) providing virtual summer learning for 600+ county students in 2020
  • Developed The Steinman Foundation’s $50,000 Pursuit of Equity prize in conjunction with the Lancaster County Community Foundation to award during the annual Extraordinary Give 24-hour day of giving in 2021 to provide additional support to organizations actively working toward equity in Lancaster County
  • Represented the Foundation as a member of the STEM Funders Network, a national group striving to ensure access, representation and diverse leadership in STEM education, programming and funding
  • Provided operational support to the Lancaster County STEM Alliance, one of over 100 STEM Learning Communities of Practice globally through both local STEM funding, programming and educational offering and national collaborations with efforts such as Imagine Science and All Star Code
  • Supervised Foundation’s program assistant position (full-time team member), teacher-interns (, position), and bachelor-level college intern (full-, temporary position) and provided coaching, weekly check-ins, project management support and fostered collaboration and growth at all times for all team members
  • Oversaw day-to-day operations of foundations such as monitoring grant agreements, communication with grantees and potential grantees, site visits, grantmaking database, grant payments, supporting biannual audits, etc
  • Created, maintained, and managed a budget for the Lancaster County STEM Alliance of approximately $1.6 million annually and approximately $5 million in Foundation grantmaking annually.
