  • Master’s Program; conducts and teaches first-year master's students extensive research specializing in Genomics, molecular biology, cancer biology, and infectious diseases, particularly related to schistosomiasis.
  • Expose snails to miracidia to study host-parasite interactions. Perform RNA isolation and extraction from biological samples for downstream molecular analysis.
  • Conduct cDNA synthesis to prepare a template for gene expression studies.
  • Run Real-Time PCR (qPCR) to quantify gene expression levels with precision, prepare and analyze samples using agarose gel electrophoresis for DNA visualization.
