OLUWATOLA ADEDEJI

Lubbock,Texas

Summary

I have over 12 years of experience in Remote Sensing Application, GIS, Monitoring & Evaluation, excellent knowledge in the use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and Satellite images. I hold a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science (Space Application) from the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Studies, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife; PGD in Remote Sensing and GIS at the African Regional Centre for Space Science and Technology Education under the auspices of United Nations Principle of Outer Space Agency (UNPSA). I also hold a B.Tech. in Meteorology from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, and I have undertaken several environmental and GIS projects. Notably are my roles as a GIS Team Lead for World Bank funded projects such as the Geo-Visualization Portal for the Ibadan Urban Flood Management Project (IUFMP) and the National Business Sample Census (NBSC) Project. As a Meteorologist, I developed the models used for the prediction of the NIHSA Flood Prediction App, I was a team member of the Charter activated by International Charter Space and Major Disasters for the flood occurrence in Niger and I have worked as a GIS Analyst for the Geo-Referenced Infrastructure and Demographic Data for Development (GRID3) sponsored by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. I have published several research papers and enjoy playing scrabbles as leisure.
