Nurse Residency Facilitator
As a nurse residency facilitator, I lead clinical reflection sessions for new graduate nurses in their first year of practice. These sessions provide a supportive space to ask questions, share growth experiences, and navigate the transition into the RN role. We discuss Vizient-provided curriculum topics based on their stage in the program, and I escalate any concerns to the residency team or appropriate nurse managers as needed.
Clinical Ladder Committee (SPIRE)
After advancing to the second tier of the YNHH clinical ladder program, I joined the SPIRE committee. In this role, I review clinical advancement applications and help promote the SPIRE program across the YNHH organization. SPIRE supports professional development by encouraging nurses to demonstrate their growth as scholars, practitioners, innovators, researchers, and educators.
