Skills

  • Proficient in Fusion 360
  • Thermal system design using ANSYS
  • Matlab
  • Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using COMSOL
  • Tinkercad
  • Arduino

projects

1. Design and Analysis of Mechatronics project.

  • Worked in a team to design and manufacture "leak detection system".
  • Utilized "Tinkercad" to create an electrical schematic to implement in project.
  • Built casing for all housing components of system.
  • objective was to Simulate/test a leak while monitoring fluid flow, for electrical system to detect and if detected to execute an emergency shut off valve.
  • Presented project to faculty and staff amongst fellow students

2. Design and manufacture "Anti-bump Roomba"

  • Worked amongst 4 other members to design and assemble a "Anti-bump" roomba
  • Function was to act as a regular home roomba, by avoiding obstacles in pathway.
  • Utilized "Tinkercad" to create an electrical schematic to implement in our design.
  • After coding and electrical wiring was successful the team assembled in a 10in dia. casing.
  • Presented project to faculty and staff amongst fellow students

3. Heat Exchanger

  • Modeled refrigerant copper coil/PVC pipe with use of ANSYS.
  • Tested model in ANSYS to receive data such as flow rates and temp.
  • After final data results (ANSYS), the Heat exchanger began production and once finished tested in the lab.
  • Final project was presented to professor and classmates.
