• The focus is on Automatic Speech Recognition in the context of communication between Pilots and Air Traffic Controllers (ATC). While speech is the most natural means of communication, transcription serves as a vital safety mechanism, ensuring a high degree of clarity. We aim to develop an optimal AI framework for word-by-word transcription of ATC speech with the ultimate goal of enhancing safety.

Turret Gunner Survivability and Simulation Environment (Sensors Team),

• Worked on a project to design a PCB layout for a heart rate sensor/pulse Oximeter that communicates using an MSP430 microcontroller, which then displays the result on a seven segment display.
• This is part of project that has been funded by the US army to design a smart suit helping soldiers in front lines.

ADJUSTABLE HVAC SYSTEM

• Our team was able to design a mini HVAC system in our embedded system's class using SPI communications.
• Based on the readings that came from the temperature and humidity sensors, microcontrollers would then sense whether to turn a small fan on or off.
• A WI-FI module was used to transfer data between the microcontrollers.
• ALTIUM software was used to design the PCB integrated circuit for the project
• Code Composer C++ software was used to program the microcontrollers.

AI-based Prostate Cancer Detection

• Overview: Developed an AI-driven diagnostic tool aimed at improving the early detection rate of prostate cancer.
• Technologies Used: Utilized Python for algorithm development, and Anaconda software for data processing.
