  • Working on the Prototype and Production of Harness and Brackets designs for the Honda commodities: China, North America, Canada, and Central America. With the requirements such as clearance, installation and maintenance service lengths and associate access to change parts or install them as well and methods demanded by the supplier in order to comply with the best timing, savings and performance for the build of the product.
  • Provide the solutions for current design, where are included the Right Hand Drive and Left Hand Drive versions in programs like the NSX, Pilot, MDX and TL.
  • Actually working on the next civic model as wire harness engineer designer, where duties are but not limited to the 4DR: Roof Harness, Rear Doors and Rear Harness, also for the 2DR Roof Harness and Rear Harness, as well as their 2D Drawings for each scheduled stage including exclusive parts such as new clips, brackets or protections, using Catia V5, with the Honda storage software and process to deliver every required harness data, also collaborating with suppliers in order to deliver 2D drawing in time for the harness construction.

  • Working on the routing design for the Headliner and Engine Bay Compartment for the Lincoln, Fusion (North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and China).
  • Provide the solutions for each different Engine Bay Compartment configuration where are included the Right Hand Drive and Left Hand Drive as well the Hybrid and Plug In Hybrid versions, and for the Headliner with Moonroof, Sunroof, Wopper, Pano Window and Fixed Window, 4 & 5 doors and Wagon.
  • Support meetings with customers and coworkers in US and Europe though the time line production in order to deliver all parts at the right time according with the schedule timing and also delivering with excellent quality at the firs time, all in order to comply with the Verification Prototype process.
  • As an extra activity I was working with a team to create a process which can reduce the cost (Ford) and timing of the harness construction for the suppliers, and also learning how to create macros for CATIA V5 in order to make the design process faster and easy for the designer.

  • Working on the routing design zones for the Boeing 787 airplane at the Wings, Engines and Bilge (Airplane Belly).
  • Working with special zones at the WINGS & Engines where the Airplane contains Hydraulic lines, Fuel tank, structure, electrical wiring, water tubes, air lines, oxygen lines, torque tubes and environment itself.
  • Development of the design must follow all the customer requirements, checking part numbers, equipment and the routing area in order to comply with the quality of the design.
  • Negotiation with the customer about the location, position and part numbers of all the attachments and penetrations that the preferred routing needs and as well as to meet all the specific requirements.
  • Analyze flexible bundles, this analysis is totally different from the latest release of the 787 Boeing airplane, also incorporates a lot of improvements; this study has all the possible scenarios that these bundles could present with all the tolerances that manufacturing and installation engineers could apply.

  • Designed 2D models as well, taking the data from the 3D model (WHA) complying all the manufacturing specifications.

  • Conveyors and Manufacturing Lines design.
  • My duties involved the conveyors and manufacturing system design, propose and analyze the different solutions for all the different projects of the company, chose the motor for the conveyor and which kind of materials should be used according to the project necessities. The software used for the design was AUTOCAD 2004.
  • Three of the projects that I had proposed were chosen for the companies that we worked for in that time. A pneumatic lifter for one piece and two pieces toilets in a box, A “Brick Buffer” for a dairy company, and a scissors lifter for toilet cups.
