Opal Hobbs

I trained under Sarasota Ballet Principal Dancer, Stephanie Murrish, and Bolshoi Graduate, Daniil Gaifullin. We trained 5 day a week under a traditional vaganova syllabus. Classes included Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Character, PBT, Variations, and private classes.

I began as a full time intensive student fall 2022. Classes consisted of ballet, pointe, modern, and jazz. I danced 5 days a week under the Vaganova Syllabus

I was apart of the senior ensemble once again. We worked with company member and choreograph, Marius Morawski. We performed this 20min piece at the end of year showcase

Intensive Student's were offered minor roles in The Nutcracker in order to gain company experience. Most of the seniors we either mice or soldiers.

I auditioned for Tulsa Ballet's Senior Intensive Ensemble. I was accepted and I began taking classes there concurrently with Owasso Dance Co. We worked with choreographer, Patrick Ingram, on a 20 minute contemporary ensemble dance for Tulsa Ballet's End of Year Showcase.
