Area / Site Rope Manager
3 Years 11 Months- Currently on the on the fore front of a new construction project for a leading provider in the pharmaceutical client.
- Promoted from Area Manager in Denver, CO to lead Turner’s largest TSS site in Freeport.
- Spearheaded site restructuring to boost client satisfaction, increase revenue, expand manpower, and rebuild trust with our client.
- Directed maintenance and turnaround operations, increasing turnaround duration by over 600% through strategic execution
- Delivered high-impact cost-saving reports and project controls to justify division expansion and continued client engagement
- Led coordination with planners to develop job scope strategies and optimize project outcomes
- Successfully finished 9 yr recodable-free site during my tenure in Freeport.

Rope Access Superintendent
10 Months- Worked with departments across the company, including refractory, mechanical services and project management, in developing new ideas, initiatives, and services.
- Helped kickoff the Rope division by being the lead Level 3 to be sent out on potential future business ventures.
- Used my experience in Insulation to order material, equipment, and coordinate specific work plans in order to complete tasks.
- Assisted our sister company (RCS) as a supervision role for turnarounds involving insulation, scaffold, asbestos, rigging, refractory, and minimal paint.
- Heavily involved in the demolition of boilers/ preheaters and replaced with new as well as with coordinating the insulation aspect of it.
Project Lead
6 Months- CUI Coordinator
- Develop a better plan to remove Lead, and Asbestos via rope access and eliminate potential exposure.
- Coordinate with Total Safety to accomplish 100% air and personal monitoring for any lead and asbestos work.
- Help manage the work of 12 employees, increasing crew efficiency by 38%.
- Develop rigging systems for special equipment needed in work area that was normally not practical.
- Assist maintenance with man power assistance involving any mechanical work.
- Coordinated all insulation work for Darp Project.
Rope Site Superintendent
1 Year 7 Months- Talk to clients and understand instructions, plans, or diagrams to establish work requirements.
- Provide assistance to craft workers, such as riggers, insulators, or Exxon personnel.
- Submit estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports as needed per Site Manager.
- Determine the amounts and types of insulation needed, and methods of installation, based on factors such as location, surface shape, and equipment use.
- Managed the application, removal, and repairs of insulation on industrial equipment, pipes, or other mechanical systems such as heat exchangers, tanks, and vessels, to help control noise and maintain temperatures.
- Was over most of the X-ray work that involved rope access in the duration of my time being there.
- Experience with changing out flare tips.
- Rope Access Lead for the CUI program at Exxon.
- Back up to the Site Superintendent when needed.
Rope Access Project Coordinator
1 Year 5 Months- Direct and coordinate one of the biggest projects Team Rope Access division had in 2018. It involved insulation removal, cleaning of the pipe using needle guns, bristle blasters, wire wheels etc. Followed by inspection of the integrity of the line. A product called Polyguard was applied and then wrapped in Zeroperm, and finally it was reinsulated with Pyrogel and metal.
- Oversee the material being ordered and budget cost accordingly with Chevron
- Coordinate the manpower that best fit possible for Team in order to become profitable.
- Successfully completing the project with no injuries and no dropped objects this by also rewarding Team with a Certificate of Appreciation. Ultimately the successful project rolled over to a successful CUI Project.
- Helped extend the duration of the contract that was initially signed.
PMI/Lo-silica Rope Lead Coordinator
1 Year 8 Months- Analyze performance of the project and its staff in order to determine areas of potential cost reduction, program improvement, and/or productivity improvement.
- Direct, plan, or implement policies, objectives, or activities to ensure continuing operations, to maximize returns on investments, or to increase productivity.
- Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Estimate the amounts, types, or costs of needed materials for insulation.
- Work hand in hand with logistics specialists, planners, or schedulers.
- Ultimately, we provided the client with the necessary NDT methods such as, UT/RT/RTR (Real Time Radiography). As well as, insulation removal and re-insulating as needed for the LOSILICA project. The PMI project consisted of using the RTR method in order to find the welds on insulated piping, and using PMI to analyse the materials to determine the chemical composition of a metal or alloy on every component associated with the piping provided by the client.
Site Manager
1 Year 9 Months- Help begin a CUI program for Chevron Phillips Pasadena, Tx
- Began with 5 man crew and ultimately grew as big as 65 employees at one point.
- Develop a better plan to remove Lead, and Asbestos via rope access and eliminate potential exposure while coordinating with Total Safety to accomplish 100% air and personal monitoring for any lead and asbestos work.
- Help manage the work of 65 employees, increasing crew efficiency by 38%.
