As a Dispatcher Engineer in the Electrical Department, I was responsible for the safe, continuous, and efficient operation of high-voltage electrical systems across a large-scale coal mining site. Operating from a 110 kV/35 kV/6 kV substation, I oversaw the distribution of power to essential infrastructure, including administrative offices, heavy equipment workshops, powerhouses, and large-scale electric excavators requiring a 6000 V power supply.

Key responsibilities included:

• Substation Operations: Monitored and managed electrical flow from the main substation, ensuring uninterrupted power delivery across the site. Actively participated in troubleshooting and immediate response for any supply fluctuations or outages.
• Team Leadership & Jobsite Coordination: Directed and assigned electrical teams to various field operations, providing detailed technical instructions and safety protocols. All on-site electrical tasks were carried out under my command and approval, effectively functioning in a leadership role, akin to a site manager.
• Promotion & Recognition: Began as an electrical apprentice and earned four promotions in just 18 months, resulting in a fourfold salary increase—demonstrating a proven track record of technical competence, leadership, and exceptional performance.

This role combined hands-on electrical expertise with strong managerial responsibilities, requiring real-time decision-making, system-wide awareness, and the ability to coordinate teams under demanding conditions.
