Crops: Propagate, transplant and water vegetable crops. Harvest vegetables using farm equipment

or by hand. Distribution of vegetables to CSA customers.

Equipment: Operate tractor and other farm equipment for planting and harvesting. Setup and maintain

fences, irrigation systems, and hoop houses.

Animals: Monitor birth and early development of dairy kids and lambs. Administer vaccines to kids and

lambs. Feed and care for sheep, goats and chickens. Harvest eggs.

Managing: Train and oversee youth and volunteer farm workers.

Research: Conducted research on downy mildew resistance in basil propagation for Sun Dog Farm in

participation with the Cooperators Program, Practical Farmers of Iowa, Summer 2022.
