Missiles and Fire Control ( MFC )

Major responsibilities,

- Identifying an appropriate machining strategy ( Milling, Turning, Mill-turn etc.) and machine for ultra-precision machined components. The tolerance range is ±0.0001".

- Creation of NC program of the ultra-precision parts in UniGraphics/NX 12 CAM module for (5/7/9-axis) high precision machines such as Mazak INTEGREX i100S/ST Mill-Turn Machines, Mitsui SEIKI Milling Machines etc.

Department of Aerostructures

The Division of Commercial (Boeing / Airbus / Sikorsky / Spirit Aerosystems) and Indigenous (Rotary Wing/ UAV /Satellite) Programs NC Engineering

Major responsibilities are,

- Identifying an appropriate machining strategy (CNC mill, lathe, etc.) and a task center to manufacture components.
- Creating NC Program for distinct aerostructure parts and tools on UniGraphics/NX 12CAM module to machine or re-work through both multi-axis (3/4/5-axis) high-precision
CNC milling centers such as DMG MORI, Mazak, HURON, CHIRON, BRETON, CMS Antares composite cutting, and rough cutting center that 5-axis TCI cutting WaterJET.
- Simulating and verifying the NC program performed to counter possible failures, gauges, and collisions through utilizing set-up on CGTech Vericut 9.4.
- Preparing and publishing shopfloor documents such as Machining Data Sheet (MDS) defining stock dimensions, grain directions for first cut operation, and NC Sheet (NCS) including whole set-up details as operation list, fastening instructions of the components on millfixture, holder types, etc. to be guide and support for the technician of task center.
- Accompanying First Article Inspection (FAI) operation in person to observe and validate both NC program, and the main structure of part roughly according to blueprints versus probable faults in advance of CMM station. On the condition
required, implement improvements then decide to execute Delta FAI operation in accordance with AS9100 specification.
- Surveying and fulfilling root cause analysis of component non-conformance, diagnosing trouble, and implementing effective corrections to figure it out.
- Carrying out continuous, efficient and agile multidisciplinary actions among stakeholders such as Manufacturing Engineers, Structural Designers, Tool Designers, and Shopfloor Staff to give or take feedback, troubleshoot and conduct 5S Kaizen
enhancements regarding confronted manufacturing issues throughout all process belonging components.

As the course of my whole studentship period, except for being a student, I served as a Pharmacy Technician at the NUR Pharmacy in Sariyer, Istanbul since 2007 as part-time during education periods, full time on vacations.
