- Work with engineering and maintenance to identify, troubleshoot and solve problems
- Perform SAP tasks such as work orders, daily task, maintenance planning, etc
- Responsible for isolating and permitting critical jobs during turnaround and daily maintenance
- Perform visuals of equipment daily and lubricate rotating equipment when needed
- Perform troubleshooting involving control valves, pumps, product transfer, Flares, etc
- Train new hires on learning the process
- Work closely with contractors & techs to tag equipment and protect workers from downstream systems
- Operate and Inspect Floating roof tanks & Fixed roof tanks; followed tank cleaning jobs
- Responsible for transferring product from tanks to loading barges
- Issue SWP's including confined space, Hot Work, LEO's
- Maximize plant production while operating safely
- Monitor Furnace stack emissions, and make adjustments to avoid receiving Title 5's
- Maintains on time and regular attendance
- Immediate Response focal point during plant emergencies
- Monitors control board and adjusts for plant optimization working with engineering
- Responsible for catching daily routine samples and collecting data
