A psychological Science major seeking to further my education with psychology with also having it applied in sports. I believe with the quick ability to adapt to new situations, discipline and with great critical thinking skills I have will help me accomplish my goals to getting my masters degree. As I graduated from William Jewell College, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in the Psychology field but also stay in the athletic field. My entire life as a student athlete I focused on physical assets because that is all I knew and as I got to the college level with athletics it seemed that the mental part is just as important. With all being said this is what helped me decide the career path I want to pursue. Which is becoming a Sports Psychologist and help upcoming athletes with the mental part of the game.
As a Varsity Assistant football coach my role was to prepare my student athletes physically and mentally for every friday night football game. Throughout the week I would run effective Defensive line drills to increase confidence and skills for my players.
