  • Manually inspect products during and after drying to evaluate progress, and control the process to achieve outcomes consistent with product specifications.

  • Ensure product quality by monitoring product tank levels, wastewater, and product baghouse levels to prevent environmental issues from occurring.
  • Perform routine outside operational tasks, such as taking and recording readings, collecting samples, and conducting inspections three rounds per shift on all equipment for contamination and/or faultiness.
  • Responsible for starting up and shutting down the unit, while ensuring the safety of all employees. This includes verifying that all personnel are evacuated, and that all equipment is down during an emergency evacuation.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions in dryer systems and make necessary repairs.
  • Monitor conveyor systems to prevent jams, clogs, or other issues that may impede production flow.
