  • Responsible for operating a corrugator which produces corrugated sheets that are later sent to a converting department that make them into boxes and print the customers specifications/logos.
  • Setting up roll stands with giant rolls of paper, aligning multiple liners, and mediums to run thru the module facer to be corrugated. Controlling from my desk heat, steam, tension, and starch levels from any defects called from the stacker operator (Quality Inspector at the end of Corrugator).
  • Running about 500,000 linear feet in a 12hr shift
  • Assisting in machine maintenance during daily and weekly PM's (Preventative Maintenance).
  • As a Stacker Operator; I was responsible for controlling the stacker which stacked, and squared the corrugated sheets coming out. Where I would then QC the sheets doing moisture checks, caliper checks, warp checks, soak tests, temperature checks, and then logging it in where I would pass or fail it. Any defects were called over the radio to the control room and MF Operator for any needed adjustments.

  • Responsible for production of batches within acrylic line through operation of robot, including, mixing chemicals, operating huge blenders and machinery, and adding fillers and sands to create final product (stucco). Adjusted viscosity to create textures while taking samples for QC, setting up and calibrating warehouse robot, using its master computer, for product scanning, printing, and pail labeling. Responsible for observing the line during production, power washing blender, in preparation for different prod-ucts preventing cross-contamination, and palletizing all pails. Assisted and monitored the production of pre-mixture employees, controlling chemical room, and unloading chemical tanker trucks. In addition, responsible for all acrylic line production, as well as paint and primer lines.
  • Cross-trained in all Parex USA departments, including dry line for dry products, paint and primer lines, the tinting room, as well as assisting in shipping and receiving.
  • Trained by management, as an additional duty, to maintain inventory of all warehouse products preventing supply deficiencies.
  • Assisted in maintenance of operation and warehouse equipment saving Parex USA $10,000 annually in repair costs.
