• Supervise rope access crew on platform ensuring safety, efficiency and proper rigging techniques as well as maneuvers.
• Perform complex rigging for inspections, maintenance and repairs following SPRAT regulations and guidelines.
• Set up heavy rigging with good anchor supports to install and dismantle pipe, motors, structures and equipment.
• Haul team members for NDT inspection in columns, pontoons and confined spaces.
• Have knowledge of basic crane signals.
• Read and understand Isometric, P&IDs, drawings, blueprints and work instructions.
• Coordinate with engineers and superintendent to ensure efficient work planning.
• Go over job safety analysis before work and get crews participation in meeting.
• Train junior technicians and evaluate them.
• Use heavy electric and pneumatic power tools to perform job.
• Perform confined space entry with breathing apparatus and in tight uncomfortable areas.
• Supervise crew when working over the water to makes sure they are using safe practices.
• Participate in emergency response and rescue team.

• Supervise team and set up ropes for fabric maintenance jobs and make sure we stay in the boundaries of the work pack.

• Conduct meeting and review job safety analyses with BP supervisor and co-workers.

• Oversee complex operations of fellow co-workers and make sure they follow rope access protocols and procedures.

• Train employees and evaluate according to their skill and knowledge for company records.
• Manage rescue plans and assess every situation specially when working over the water.
• Write and issue permits for up coming Fabric maintenance jobs such as hot work, spark potential and confined space entry.
• Document and track all permits on Excell or MS sheets as well as BP’s Ecow.
• Walk down jobs with BP personnel to give work scope estimates on work packs.
• Read and understand Isometric and P&ID

• Execute mechanical maintenance and repair during shutdown and turnarounds.
• Follow all safety procedures including lock-out/tag-out and permit to works.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, ISOs and P&IDs.
• Fabricate and assemble structures including tanks, vessels, pipe spools and valves.
• Operate grinders, jackhammers, drills, oxy-acetylene equipment, torque wrenches, hydraulic presses and impact tools.
• Perform torque procedures and follow torque specs
• Drive and operate JLG boom lifts, scissor lifts and forklift.
• Work with crane operator and plan out job scope for assembling or demolishing of pipe spools or structures.

• Observe and Report Terminal manager of equipment in connection with receiving, storing, transferring, and loading of liquid bulk products via trucks, pipeline, rail cars, water vessels or tanks.
• Handled and transferred hazardous materials in compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Operated and monitor pumps, valves, manifolds and pipelines.
• Conduct precise tank gauging and sampling on a weekly basis.
• Assistance in maintenance with control room on troubleshooting pumps, motors, air valves and instrumentation.
• Knowledge of pressure, temperature and flow rate during chemical transfer.
• Go over and verify bills of lading, manifests, and shipping documentation.
• Use basic math skills to measure flow rate and tanks volume capacity to prevent spills.
