Operate a full scope of CNC machining tools, Haas Mills, Fanuc controlled Deawoo lathes, manual mills & lathes, and general hand and power tools to machine industrial parts and components serving the oil field industry. Machine high tech sensors for oil field post production, work holding devices and custom machined parts. Proficient in the programming, set-up and running of jobs, primarily low volume, custom runs. Work with a broad range of materials including stainless steel, aluminum, and general steel materials. Also worked in the black oxide room, maintained own machines and practice safe work practices. Operate Master Cam X program. Maintained a low fallout rate and high quality standards.

Experienced in production management for this facility producing machined parts for the automotive industry; i.e. connecting rods, front and rear suspension knuckles, suspension drive train dampers, etc. Oversaw production operations and a staff of 20 direct reports (total of 50 on the shift). Supervised six different lines at two plants coordinating production with set-up crew, production personnel and engineering. Involved in shipping and receiving, forecast review coordinating changeovers and planning for production needs.

Experienced in designing from concept, creating and modifying blueprints, implementing design changes due to model and component changes, and designing jigs and fixtures. Conducted tool and material studies to determine part failures, troubleshoot problems with tooling, and implement design change to resolve production problems.

Assisted another engineer in bringing broach tooling into the plant. Helped design new fixtures for this process.
