Otis Williams

My name is Otis Williams III, and I am a 5th-year apprentice at JCB. I have always been interested in manufacturing and focused on this area during high school at Woodville-Tompkin Technical HS, one of the best schools in Georgia. I have worked in Purchasing and discovered that I enjoy using my computer skills to manage tasks while also being active on the manufacturing floor and in the office. At JCB, I worked on the production floor and learned a lot about our processes. This hands-on experience helped me find ways to improve things, saving the company $500,000+ in my first year in purchasing. If I get the chance to work at Hyundai, I will take the same approach. I will walk the floor, identify problems, and find cost-saving solutions that others might miss while sitting at their desks. I am ready to make a positive impact.
