My Duties as Central Plant Engineer are to operate, monitor, and maintain the design operation and performance of the buildings operating systems and grounds
• The Building/Plant Engineer will report directly to the Director of Facilities within the Facilities & Global Real Estate Department
• Key operations and maintenance responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• HVAC maintenance and operations
• Cooling tower maintenance
• Water treatment systems
•Air handler operations and maintenance
• Boiler systems
• Air balancing
• Domestic water supply repairs and troubleshooting
• Sewer system analysis and repair as necessary
• Electrical support and distribution systems
• Re-lamping/ballast replacement
• lighting system retrofits
• Emergency generators inspection and start up documentation
• Power supply system maintenance and troubleshooting
• Prepare, maintain, and regularly review logs for repair, service, and operation of all equipment
• Provide the Director of Facilities with copies of engineering logs and reports as required or necessary
• Provide the Director of Facilities with recommendations for improvements or ideas on increased efficiency in the operation of all systems related equipment
• Required to generate reports on the operation of building systems, budget impact items, and upcoming projects as required
• Coordinate vendors, construction, and various projects as assigned
• Oversight of any contractors, vendors, service providers, and their personnel working at or on Campus
