
A 20-year-old college student looking for serving work. Through my previous job, I have developed a skill for restaurant service, having worked in all facets of a restaurant. My greatest skills are my ability to handle many voices and problems at once, and to effectively communicate issues with my coworkers. Additionally, I bring a level-headed mindset that is able to deal with all types of customers.
-In August 2024, I was promoted to one of the Front of House managers due to the restaurant's growing popularity. In addition to my previous tasks, I handled taking and ordering food and drink inventory, organizing the back areas of the restaurants, and participating in schedule-making.
-This position also emphasized social interaction with customers; it was my role to engage with customers and create a nice atmosphere when time permitted.
-I was one of two people who handled the full opening and closing duties.
-Worked as a server for tables. Due to the smaller nature of the restaurant, server duties included bussing, food running, dishwashing, and wokring in the bar. (2-3 days per week)
Servers would also be responsible for handling the phone and to go orders.
-Due to limited staff, I also worked as a pizza maker, working on the oven and making pizzas as needed (1-2 days per week)
- I had the ability to open and close the restaurant, and did so as needed.
