Owen Constine

Highly motivated individual passionate about Aerospace engineering and related fields. Works at a fast pace to achieve and surpass goals. Strong desire and love for learning new and challenging skills. Has been highly motivated in academics and is currently taking upper division classes as a first year in college. Already admitted to major due to PSEO and AP credits and is expected to graduate in the spring of 2025.

Have played trumpet since 6th grade and has been in Marching band, Jazz band, and wind ensemble throughout high school. Was trumpet section leader from 2020 - 2023. Currently in the University of Minnesota marching band as well as the pep band. Has been wood working since 4 years old making various projects. Most notably is a originally designed and ridable bike exclusively made of wood. This project is a key inspiration and motivation in my passion for engineering and structural analysis. Currently working on designing and prototyping  a hydrofoiling sailboat with a split haul to allow part of the haul to generate lift increasing performance and max sailing speed.
