I currently am engaged in a legal internship at the Law Offices of Sabrina Li, a firm that specializes in immigration law. As a legal intern I have been working on cases where I am compiling or sorting evidence, or analyzing documents submitted by clients, etc. As well I have been able to work on legal writing such as submitting motions to initiate or terminate relations with clients. This internship has allowed me to conduct work in a specific area of the legal field and has introduced me to the importance of immigration law. Underneath the attorneys and paralegals I have had the pleasure of working under, I was able to enhance my skills in legal writing, client relations, and case analysis.

In order to generate income I have driven for Doordash, delivering orders. Through this form of part time-or self employment I was introduced to many communication strategies as well as insight into how various businesses are able to operate. I also learned valuable skills in understanding technology within a platform business, specifically sensitivities/changes in the Doordash algorithms. Overall the position has been particularly beneficial towards forming connections and communicating with consumers, as well as the entrepreneurial experience.

I worked a regional political assistant intern on Van Tran's campaign for District 1 Supervisor of Orange County. Through this experience I gained valuable skills in campaign strategies. I conducted voter outreach, learned to understand demographics and voter tendencies, and created advertisements for our social media and marketing efforts. Working with this campaign has increased my understanding of what it takes to manage a campaign and garner votes for a candidate, as well as experience in understanding the complexities of this area in politics.
