  • Monday – Thursday serve security services to students and staff at the Mt. Hood Community College Maywood Park and Bruning Center Campuses, such as escorts to vehicles after dark, upholding MHCC policy, reporting graffiti and damage done to campus property, and responding to suspicious and criminal activity occurring on the property.
  • When assigned coverage shifts for the absence of other officers at the Gresham campus, vehicle patrols of north and south campuses are done to observe and watch for activity that violates MHCC policy or potentially risks the safety and well-being of students, staff, or visitors on campus. Another responsibility is ensuring campus buildings are locked and alarmed following the departure of students and staff.

  • Conducted foot patrols around the main Gresham campus, observing activity and reported any negative behavior to the on-duty officer. Assisted with unlocks during school hours and was assigned for lock up on multiple occasions during the weekends in the late evening hours. Added an extra presence to the campus to show Public Safety was actively working.
