Scuba diving requires excellent non-verbal teamwork in order to make sure that a dive goes without incident. I took a week long class which culminated in doing scuba diving instruction in a pool where we learned basic emergency procedure for when someone is caught in seaweed or runs out of oxygen and later taking a trip to catalina island. At catalina island I led the instructor, my dad, and two other divers on a 30 minute dive after which I was given my diving certification.
