Export Manager - Express Cargo Line (Ecuador)

In 2019, I successfully established and led a new department at Express Cargo Line to comply with national regulations. Under my leadership, the department managed the transportation of 130 refrigerated containers (reefers) per week to various countries, including Uruguay, Chile, Argentina, Paraguay, and Bolivia, utilizing intermodal routes through Chile.

Key achievements include:

• Coordinated weekly exports of shrimp, bananas, natural juices, and flowers to key markets in Asia, including Shanghai, Xingang, Shenzhen, Seoul (South Korea), Ho Chi Minh and Haiphong (Vietnam), and Port Klang (Malaysia).
• Consolidated shrimp shipments for Europe, targeting markets in Sweden, Oslo, and Hamburg, ensuring service quality and operational efficiency.
• Adapted quickly to regulatory changes, creating a robust operational framework to expand market reach across competitive international industries.

This role highlighted my ability to manage high-volume shipments while maintaining quality standards and operational efficiency in diverse and demanding global markets.

• Construction Sector Projects (Ecuador):

• Coordinated the transportation of Mack trucks from Baltimore ports to Guayaquil, Ecuador, working closely with shipping lines such as Seaboard, Interocean Lines, Trinity, and other SSLines. Ensured efficient logistics solutions for large-scale construction projects.

Wind and Gas Projects:

Managed the logistics of wind and gas equipment transportation from Tarragona, Spain, to Abio Alto, Ecuador. Oversaw international shipping and on-ground logistics for successful delivery.

SOC Container Projects:

Supervised the transportation of 1,400 SOC containers from China to Ecuador. Streamlined processes to ensure timely delivery while managing multiple stakeholders in a high-stakes logistics environment.

Pipeline Project (Ecuador to Shanghai):

Directed the shipment of 160 containers of pipelines from Ecuador to Shanghai. Innovatively optimized costs by shifting from bulk vessel transport to containerized shipping via Maersk Line, generating over $300,000 in profit for a single project.

Developed and implemented daily logistics solutions for intra-USA cargo movements, ensuring seamless consolidation from warehouses in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago into a single hub in Miami. Managed the export of consolidated shipments to Ecuador, optimizing supply chain processes and reducing operational inefficiencies while maintaining strict delivery timelines
