In my first year home from college I had a few students from my senior year that I would train to make extra money, so I continued to train my 3 students. After the first few weeks I received an opportunity to pick up a few more kids, so I took it. With now 7 kids, and all being girls, I thought it would be a great idea to have them compete in a local 7v7 open soccer tournament. My girls placed 3rd in this tournament, afterwards I received many request for people to join my private classes. With the edition of 8 new kids I got the idea to start the Huffman Soccer Club.

Huffman,TX is known for its football and not for its soccer, this gave me an opportunity to give the kids a chance to grow and a chance to play. I transferred from Austin back to San Jac in Baytown,TX so I could continue to run the club after the summer was over and still play baseball and go to school. The club itself had sponsors and a home field and practice fields the were generously giving by my local church. The club grew to 33 kids with 5 coaches. The club ran until 2013, around this time most of my kids were going to Middle School and High School where there commitment for soccer went to there respective Schools. I also made the choice to join the Military.

My proudest thing I accomplished through the Club was the outreach, and the support my town and surrounding towns. Through my various partnerships agreement with businesses and the school district, The Huffman Soccer Club provided scholarships to the kids that could not afford the club dues or travel cost. Thorough my foundation Goals and Souls and my partnership with the church, we were able to give kids who couldn't afford soccer boots a free pair.
