PABLO RODRIGUEZ

Develops and delivers curriculum to teach individuals, particularly those with special needs or disabilities, the skills necessary for independent living. Key duties include creating lesson plans for personal hygiene, cooking, managing money, and social interactions, collaborating on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), implementing instructional strategies, assessing student progress, and managing student behavior.

• Designed lesson plans and facilitated content area curriculum for 5th grade.
• Executed classroom management and community building strategies such as pair and share/cooperative learning.
• Balance whole group, small group, & individual instruction to accommodate different academic levels and learning styles – advanced, learning delayed.

• Provides intervention and instruction to assist at-risk students to develop appropriate behavior, coping skills, social skills and lesson plans. Plan and use appropriate learning skills and, activities and materials that meet the needs of the students.
