Began student teaching position at Clarkston High School, and was asked to take over/ become a long term substitute for the following classes, while completing my student teaching.
While teaching, I also ran the school's Student Leadership program. This allowed me to plan, implement and facilitate both annual and newly developed events within the school, district and community. These activities nurtured and aided in my growth in areas such as communication, budgeting, advertising, student engagement and community outreach. It was also an opportunity to foster my love for planning and hosting events.

This position allowed for growth of my skills in communication and handling large responsibilities that would impact a company on a large scale level, as well as individual employees.
Started with the company as a part-time position, and progressed to a full-time teaching assistant, working as a full-time teacher while a coworker was on leave, and working in the office assisting with calls, management, etc. This position sparked my love for teaching and allowed me to learn the fundamental responsibilities of running a classroom, caring for children, working in collaboration with parents and administration, and focusing on what children need to thrive individually as well as in a classroom.
