Learning about options in depth, including their structure and strategic use in both hedging and speculative contexts. I explored the mechanics of call and put options, learned how to read and interpret an options chain, and gained insight into factors that influence option pricing, such as volatility, time decay, and underlying asset movement (i.e., the Greeks). Additionally, I analyzed how options can be used within broader investment strategies to manage risk, create leverage, or generate income. Practical exposure to these instruments helped me understand how institutional investors evaluate and implement options-based strategies in live market conditions.
