Dynamic educator with a proven track record at Forxa Inc, excelling in classroom management and curriculum development. Enhanced student engagement while also Adept at fostering positive learning environments and building strong relationships. Skilled in problem-solving and effective communication, ensuring a cohesive and enriching educational experience. I am an afterschool instructor who teaches all ages from Tk-8th grade coding. I also helped in the Art, Sewing, Music, and Vr department although my main focus was being the lead of coding and electronics. What I do is go step by step teaching the children how to make their very own video games, control robots with coding on iPads, and more to show and play with friends and family all the skills they’ve learned. I really enjoy working with the kids and seeing their amazing creativity they all have so much love, knowledge ,and talent to give. We teach the all the little aspects that go into game making all the drawing portions like backgrounds ,characters, and obstacles. Then we move to the music aspect which is background music, sound effects, and character voices. Lastly is the coding where we have a specific program we use that makes it easier for the children to understand and do it on their own. Roughly the same steps are taken in the other programs as well.
As a respite worker I helped with all the personal care needs for my client who has Down syndrome, celiac disease, sleep apnea, adhd, etc. Together we worked on her cognitive development, behavior management and much more. Every day I get her ready for school now in this case her secondary program and help her with all the hygienics such as brushing her teeth if she needs help and doing her hair. If she is on her menstrual cycle I provide her with her proper underwear or a pad if the underwear is unavailable. Then I cook her breakfast and get her dressed for the day in appropriate clothing. Once she’s all set I provide her with money for her outings and send her off to her program. When she gets home we talk about her day and what she would like to do now usually it’s taking a bath or going on her iPad. I also help with her educational aspects to make her more independent and a functional human being who’s able to do things they want to with little to no help or guidance.
