I was employed with WakeMed for 26 years, and now I am back! I started out as a respiratory therapist before becoming an RN. I worked for 13 years in the emergency room, as a staff, triage, and charge nurse. I then transferred to ICU in 2018. In ICU, I became a charge nurse and completed my ECCO and CRRT training. I then became the ICU Rounding/RRT Nurse. In October 2019, I became the interim supervisor/educator in the ICU. I have my TCRN. I am ACLS, TNCC, and BLS certified. I received my BSN in 2019. I received the Professional Nursing Excellence award while I was working as a charge nurse in the emergency room.
