As a content curator at Fandango, I curated clips for the Rotten Tomatoes YouTube channels, which feature the most extensive collection of licensed movie clips on the web. I also encoded, edited, metadata-tagged, and published clips, as well as create playlists for the channels. I have been in this role since June 2022.
I have a passion for all things pop culture, especially TV shows, movies, comic books, and podcasts. I bring an engaged understanding of the contemporary zeitgeist to my content curation as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, a feminist, a ravenous reader, and a super fan. I have a B.A. in Film and Digital Media from UC Santa Cruz and an M.A. in Cinema Studies from San Francisco State University, where I wrote a thesis on how Marilyn Monroe and Kim Kardashian, as sexual icons, both support and subvert heteronormative ideals.
