I started working in the Solid Waste Field in 2006 when I was given the opportunity too become the Urban Forester for the County through a grant from the Texas Forestry service. That is when I started working closely with the Environmental Coop to improve the Recycling/Solid Waste stations in Kaufman County.

  • As the Project Manager for Kaufman County I have been responsible for the education of the residents on the importance of disposing of their Solid Waste correctly in a manor that is safe for the environment I have worked with the County Commissioners to create and improve the Solid Waste Stations in Kaufman County We have been able to offer free events and have collected unwanted and unusable electronics and HHW products for free

Accomplishments

Since 2018 I have worked hard to offer special free Recycling events for the residents of Kaufman County. Through this process we have been able to help clean up the County Roads by offering residents a better alternate to take their unwanted and unuseable HHW and Electronic items.

Affiliations

I am proud to say that Kaufman County is a member of the Keep Texas Beautiful organization and was a recipient a Silver Star at this years Keep Texas Beautiful Conference.
