• Perform high quality MRI imaging in a safe and efficient manner per facility standards.

• Demonstrate professional knowledge and judgment interpreting orders and applying imaging protocols.

• Consistently apply imaging protocols and MRI safety measures for patients, staff and self as outlined in facility protocols and regulatory guidelines.

• Provide patients with the utmost attention to their medical needs, their dignity, comfort, and safety facility policy, ensure compliance with bloodborne pathogen policy, drug security and emergency preparedness.

• Exhibit a thorough understanding of MRI principles and theory, anatomy and pathology processes utilizing the most appropriate technique for optimal examinations.

• Responsible for the administrative medical management orientation, direction, and supervision of 30+ technical, clinical, and ancillary personnel in the performance of diagnostic imaging procedures and patient care services while closely working with and receiving direction from the Senior Director of Clinical Operations.
• Interview, hire, train, coach and counsel, performance reviews of staff, competency development, communicating job expectations, and when necessary, discipline and terminate staff based on job performance.
• Organizes, plans, assigns, and monitors completion of work to assess for accuracy and quality of images, provides technical assistance and performance of exams as needed.
• Provides leadership to staff, and serves as a liaison to employees, physicians, and the COO to ensure accurate clinical workflow and clinical system integrity.
• Supports patient care by resolving operational and unforeseen specialty imaging procedural problems with physicians, radiologists, technologists, and ancillary staff by improving and maintaining the quality assurance program.
• Oversees staff in operation of multi-modality imaging equipment, ordering supplies, radiation safety, compliance with local and state regulations and guidelines.
• Review and approved timecards for accurate processing by payroll department.
• Manage budget and revenue expectations while actively seeking ways to eliminate or reduce expenses.
• Ensure adherence to quality control, record keeping, safety standards and procedures. Actively engage with quality management and improvement, including compliance, licensing, and clinical credentialing for ACR/MQSA, and dosimetry reports.
• Supervise, analyze, evaluate, and fulfils superuser role to train personnel in DR Systems PACS and Intergy RIS.
• Reflect and continually improve services to meet and exceed the needs of patients by keeping abreast of emerging models in health care delivery; identify and define new and innovative strategies to achieve business goals and objectives.

• Exhibit a thorough understanding of radiologic principles and theory, anatomy and pathology processes utilizing the most appropriate technique for optimal examinations.
